The AS-05 is a smaller size movable side plates pulley with surprisingly large range of possible applications. Its high rope manoeuvring versatility with relatively low weight makes it a perfect backup companion to every rigger or rescuer in the rope access field. Its main advantage over comparable products is the capability to insert two carabiners one above the other in the attachment hole what qualifies it for use in numerous setups and positions (e.g. tight space single and double traverse line travelers, optimization of pulley and progress capture systems or rigging with little equipment on disposal). All this, its high breaking loads and the recent addition of a low friction polymer bushing in the bearing provide a compact package for an attractive price.
